Hatha Yoga Teacher
Chris has been practising Hatha Yoga for 28 years. She started with a British Wheel of Yoga-trained teacher and found the benefits so great that she decided she would like to train to teach. Chris trained with the Yoga for Health Foundation and passed her General Training Scheme in 2004 followed by the Remedial Training Scheme in 2006.
Since then this charitable organisation has changed its name to the Yoga for Health and Education Trust. Chris is a member and that qualifies her to register with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council. Chris chose to train with this organisation because they strongly believe that yoga is for all, and that having a physical problem should not restrict anyone from getting the many benefits that yoga has to offer. Their philosophy is that as long as you are breathing you can do yoga.
Yoga has given Chris the tools to remain calm and cope with life’s problems and she loves to share this knowledge.
