Practising yoga brings so many benefits that it is difficult to name them all: improved posture, breathing, circulation, flexibility; better sleep; improved balance; and a strong healthy spine.
Eventually you get to know your body so well that you can ‘listen’ to it and learn how to counter pose any strain before it becomes a major problem.
However the spiritual side is also very powerful, helping you to become a more positive person and achieve your goals. We are not just our body and our brain. We also have an inner self / soul / spirit and all need to be ‘at one’ for us to feel happy. Acknowledging this can be very liberating.
After each session of yoga, participants feel calm and better physically, mentally and emotionally.
