Registered Osteopath, Pregnancy, Sports and Therapeutic Massage Therapist
Yvonne began as a massage therapist in 2005, specialising in Pregnancy and Sports Massage. When therapeutic massage could no longer provide enough answers, she went on to study for a 5 year Masters in Osteopathy degree at the British School of Osteopathy (now known as the University College of Osteopathy).
In 2013, she completed the OsteoMAP course, learning techniques in managing persistent pain. In 2014, she trained directly under Dr Stephen Sandler to learn sacro-coccygeal manipulation. She has also done further training in dry-needling, taping and for osteopathy during pregnancy and the postpartum period.
She is fascinated by the biomechanics of the human body and that there may be many contributing factors that can challenge our bodies’ natural ability to heal itself. She will always try to explain her findings in a way that you understand, as the more you know about what is happening in your body, the better informed choices you can make about it. She believes that everybody gets the most out of life when they are feeling well, strong and healthy.
